is that so?

KIM SUHO

Younger brother. the boy grew up without Yunan, never knowing of his existence. fortunately, he led a fair life. although Yunan would have loved to know more of his little brother, he can only do so much via keeping his identity secret and watching from afar to keep from risking his brother's safety. Yunan loves him tirelessly. from the day Suho was in the stomach of their mother, Yunan has always loved him.

MAJORA
PARK MINHO

Brother not bound by blood and Right Hand. the two of them have grown up with one another and have gone through many, many hardships and the worst of all had been the forced departure from silla and their families. Minho was Yunan's support whenever he couldn't stand being unable to see his brother, and he was all he had. He's the only one Yunan trusts to be his second in command, and the caretaker of his little brother if anything happens to him.

PARK BANRYU

Minho's family is his family too. Yunan knew how special Banryu was to Minho. even he, ever since Banryu was introduced to him as a baby, Yunan had cherished him like he was his own little brother as well. Yunan would love to meet him now that he's all grown up.

RYEO

Rival and Enemy. what no one else knows besides Yunan is that Ryeo was the very reason Yunan and Majora had been taken away from their families and little brothers. as low of a bone rank as Ryeo was, he manipulated the higher officials into trusting him and he had them challenge Yunan and Majora's intellectual and physical abilities to the extent when they were training to be the Queen's personal guards. Ryeo would whisper warnings into the ears of the officials, specifically Youngshil and Youngshil heeded them.

Yunan had found out about this far too late from an official who, while under the influence, had a liking to Yunan and drank away his guilt for not saving him in time. Since then, Yunan has always wanted Ryeo's blood on his hands.

RYEO

the VILLIAN FROM NOWHERE

Every single thing about this man is terrifying. from his capabilities to his appearance; he is not someone anyone wants to come across.

HISTORY

he had no history. he had no sad story or some traumatic event happen to him that pushed him to be who he currently is. he took a life and discovered he liked it. he loved the adrenaline of it. he loved the fear people had in their eyes when they see their lives flash before them. if anything, had he been a normal child, he would have lived a happy and content life despite his poor status and bone rank. yet. . . his first blood had been his parents. he hadn't even hit 10 years and yet he was already the embodiment of evil. he plotted the whole thing since he was 6 years old, after he had strangled a chicken to death and he just wasn't satisfied. his little sister soon fell victim to him too just a few years later. when she was just 7 years old, ryeo had gotten his hands on a sword and used it to pierce through her eye to see what would happen and how she would react. he was cruel from the beginning. a sadist, and a psychopath.

GROWING UP

ryeo, eventually becoming homeless because his parents usually paid for the home they lived in, wandered the woods just outside of Silla and lived off of challenging and killing wild animals. he'd skin them and, if they were still kicking and trying to resist against him, often alive.

TIMELINE I

ryeo has taken shelter in a small area where the soil was rich with nutrients for flowers of many kinds to grow and flourish in. so, he maintained it to make the area livable and welcoming whenever he'd come back at the end of the days. then. . . it was compromised. he always assumed it was a safe and well-hidden place until these two boys had discovered it. although he hid within a bush and watched carefully, anger and annoyance boiled in his veins. he made eye contact with one of them, and the boy immediately suggested to the other that they leave and they did. that wasn't the end of it, however. ryeo followed them all the way back to Silla. That had been when he took large amounts of joy and satisfaction in the torment he began to give them. he investigated them, stalked them, and followed them while also fitting in with the crowd of people in the kingdom. he'd break into their homes at night and watch them for countless hours as they rested before leaving flowers for them just before sunrise. sadly. . . they didn't seem to like his gifts when the day came that he'd find a pile of them all back in his garden. hurt and heartbroken, he stopped sending them.

imagine his surprise when these boys not only had little brothers born, but they had also took up training positions to be personal guards for the royal family. of course, he joined and became one of the last few left. he had eventually crossed paths with one of the so-called higher officials and they seemed to have liked him on sight when he entered the first battle session against other trainees. he took advantage of this. . . and used the higher official via befriending him, wooing him, and kissing up to him as much as he hated it but. . . how else would he have been able to get to him? anyways, once he had been able to get to him, he brought up the two boys to him and told the official to be weary of them, as they were not normal trainees. the official believed him, and everything he had said from them on and made sure to bring it to the attention of other officials. while they all lost their marbles over the situation and what to do with the boys to keep them from ascending, ryeo trained and trained until he had been in the same rank as the boys; the highest one there was. they had a small battle session to see which two out of the three were more likely to succeed, and yet they tied. ryeo hardly gave his all, and yet the other boys seemed to have lost their stamina rather quickly. he figured he could congratulate them. . . and sent them flowers once more.

everything soon had begun to go his way; the boys were abducted, kicked out of the ranks, thrown out of the kingdom, and left homeless. it was his time to shine; Ryeo had offered the pair shelter, and in return, they'd be his friends. one boy agreed to it, while the other was evidently cautious. he knew him from their first encounter, but Ryeo played it off. he'd soon come to know them as Majora and Yunan.

TIMELINE II

the trio soon traveled the land surrounding Silla until they came across a village that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. the area reeked of death, poverty, and loneliness. Ryeo took it upon himself to one day stand in the center of it and give an "inspiring" speech about how not only the kingdom but also the world is corrupt. he offered they join him in getting back at the ones who have taken everything away from them, and everyone agreed. right there on the spot, he pointed at Yunan and introduced him to everyone as their rightful leader. almost immediately, everyone had bowed towards him and chanted his name. soon, this village became their home, and their headquarters. Yunan led the group, Majora was chosen personally by Yunan to be his second in command and right hand, while Ryeo was eventually pushed aside as time went on. this infuriated him, soon finding himself desiring power, and since then has begun plotting his revenge.

TIMELINE III

what was originally going to be a raid against another village became an abduction of a Jingol outside of his Kingdom. poor royal suffered many injuries as he was able to put up a fight, and nearly killed himself in the process but all thanks to the medics in the group Yunan led, he made a full recovery just in time for a Gathering. the jingol was presented to everyone in the village and every single person wondered about who he was and what to do to him and if they can use him for profit, etc. it was a disgusting thing to see happen, yet Ryeo was smiling and grinning menacingly. he thought the royal was a beauty, and how it was unfortunate that he might just become his very first victim after having been on a very long hiatus from killing.

this was different from their other abductions they had done prior; the royal was watched over around the clock by Yunan and Majora themselves. Ryeo wasn't the only one growing curious about the jingol's importance, and soon a riot broke out due to Yunan and Majora's lack of informing everyone about what they wanted to do with the hostage. however, Majora shut the riot down almost immediately when one of Ryeo's enthusiasts went to try and touch the jingol and Majora sliced two of his fingers off and broke his nose, threatening the others if they so much as lay a hand on the hostage, they'll meet a much worse fate. this merely amused Ryeo.

he tested his limits, however. one night, Ryeo broke into the jail-like cell the royal was held in and to what he assumed was luck, the boy had been in chains. so, he approached him and attempted to grab him by the throat. the next thing he knew, he was held by a fire in the cell meant to keep it warm with a chain around his neck, choking him, and half of his facial features burning and melting from the heat. Ryeo screamed and everyone had woken up to see what happened. Yunan and Majora were the first ones at the scene, and the first to pry the royal off of Ryeo. since then, he grew to hate the royal with every fibre of his being.

he gathered all of his supporters and planned with them all how to take down Yunan and Majora. they settled on the elimination or compromising of their supporters, leading to isolation, then attacking the leaders. the first half was successful. . . but Majora and, who he eventually discovered the name to, Hanseong escaped. fortunately. . . he still had Yunan. Oh, how much fun he was going to have with him.

TIMELINE IV

Yunan was impossible to break. Ryeo could not get anything from him, no matter how much he tortured him or starved him or cut him, etc. it was as if the guy just couldn't feel pain. he'd feel nauseous due to loss of blood, but nothing more. he got absolutely nothing from him, and to his recently shitty luck, Yunan had escaped his cell. . . but not before he got Ryeo alone and attacked him. Had he spent another minute or so strangling him since he had no other weapons with him at the time, he would have been able to kill him. unfortunately for Yunan. . . he just managed to destroy his vocals, making him unable to speak; all the damage he had been receiving was pissing him off, and Ryeo was further driven by anger and his lust for revenge. soon. . . they're all going to face his wrath. soon, there will be war.
